Associated with communication and voice, the celestial chakra connects the chakras related to physical or intellectual well-being. If you feel healthy, but lack a way of communicating with others this is the chakra to stimulate. When this chakra is out-of-balance people are deeply intertwined in thought but lack the ability to open up to others. To feel part of the world again, opening this chakra should be on your to do list.

This chakra is accessed by either sitting up or lying down. The right leg is crossed over the left leg. The fingers are interlaced with the thumbs almost touching. Placing your hands in your lap is appropriate; however, wrap your hands behind the neck for optimal results.
The celestial blue chakra is associated with ether; therefore, light blue or white colors are effective focal point or clothing. Repeating the mantra or listening to music written for "G" helps intensify the meditation. When meditating on this chakra there is an instinct to sing. Try to resist that urge. People are susceptible to thoughts when meditating. It is best to stay focused on notes not words. If you must sing, chose a song with uplifting words.
Using the string method in this case may not work well, since in order to keep it on would be like strangulation. Hold the stone in your hands. If lying down, balance the stone above the sternum, between the clavicles.
Oddly this chakra can affect how well people are able to control themselves. Not being able to express one's self may lead to eating or drinking disorders. If you feel that you have something to say, but no way of saying it, then this chakra is out-of-balance and needs some attention.
